What happens if I want to shift outside the maximum or minimum speed with the automated shift assistant?

When shift mode "D" is active:

• No shifting action takes place above the maximum rotational speed! The engine cannot be "over-revved".
• Below the minimum speed, the system downshifts automatically (even in manual shift mode "M") or the clutch is opened automatically in 1st gear. This prevents the engine from "stalling".
