How can I import a route on my iPhone as a GPX file into the BMW Motorrad Connected App?

The GPX file must first be saved on your iPhone locally or in your iCloud Drive. To import the desired route as a GPX file into your BMW Motorrad Connected app, open the menu "Trip"  and select the tab "Planned Routes"    in the upper part of the screen. Here you will find the button "Route import". If you select this button, your iPhone will ask you to select the particular file to import. Here you can either select the GPX file in the history or browse your device/iCloudDrive. Once you have found your desired GPX file, all you have to do is select it. A "Please wait" screen will appear. Afterwards the display will switch back to the BMW Motorrad Connected app and a blue "Route import completed" banner will appear in the lower part of the screen. In your planned trips, the new route is listed first.

Note: You can also try to import GPX files using your iOS "Files" app. To do so select the file and the "open in..." function. There you will have the chance to send it to the BMW Motorrad Connected App.
