The following BMW Motorrad models may experience Bluetooth connection problems between smartphone and motorbike:
- CE 02 with Highline variant
- R12 nineT with ConnectedRide Control
- R12 with ConnectedRide Control
Firstly, check whether you have carried out the pairing process correctly as described in the rider's manual for your motorbike.

If the connection between smartphone and motorbike still does not work, follow these steps:
- Switch on the ignition of the motorbike.
- Delete all old pairings / connections in the BMW Motorrad Connected app and in the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone.
- Switch off Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Switch off the ignition on your motorbike for 60 to a maximum of 70 seconds.
- Close the BMW Motorrad Connected app on your smartphone.
- Switch the ignition of your motorbike back on after 70 seconds at the latest.
- Select "Connect new device" on your motorbike under SETUP > SYSTEM > Connections.
- Switch Bluetooth on your smartphone back on.
- Open the BMW Motorrad Connected app on your smartphone.
- Open the "Connectivity Hub" in the app.
- Connect a new device by selecting "BMW_CR_Control_xxxx" and following the instructions.
- The pairing should now be successfully established.
