If fault codes appear on the display of your CE 02, you should take the following steps or consult the rider's manual:

The vehicle key used is not authorised to start or the communication between the vehicle key and the motor electronics is faulty. Remove other vehicle keys that are attached to the key ring. You can also use your second vehicle key or have your faulty vehicle key replaced, preferably by an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
The ABS controller has detected a fault. The ABS function is not available. It is possible to continue riding, but we recommend having the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, ideally at an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
Communication between the radio-operated key and the motor electronics is faulty. Check the batteries in the radio-operated key and replace them if necessary. You can also use your second vehicle key or have your faulty vehicle key replaced, preferably by an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
Note: If the Check Control dialogue appears whilst riding, keep calm. You can keep on riding, the drive-ready state does not switch off.
The DWA control unit has diagnosed a communication fault. Note that the DWA can no longer be activated or deactivated. A false alarm is possible, but we recommend having the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, ideally at an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
The vehicle lights have partially or completely failed. The light controls have diagnosed a communication fault.
Note: Have the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, preferably an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer, so that you can continue to ride safely in traffic.
The state of charge is low. Charge your eParkourer as soon as possible
The state of charge of your vehicle is critical. Charge your eParkourer as soon as possible.
The drive control unit has diagnosed a fault. Risk of accident! Avoid heavy acceleration and overtaking manoeuvres. It is possible to continue riding, the maximum drive power is reduced, but we recommend having the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, ideally at an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
Stop immediately! A serious fault in the drive was detected. Irregular riding behaviour may occur and continued riding may result in damage. Have the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, preferably an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
Your vehicle is running with high power consumption, i.e. too many electrical loads are in operation at the same time or the battery is faulty. Switch off electrical loads that are not required or disconnect them from the vehicle electrical system.
Note: Have the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, preferably an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer, so that you can continue to ride safely in traffic.
Do not continue! The battery is not being charged and the vehicle electronics discharge the battery.
Possible cause: DC/DC converter malfunction, battery faulty or fuse blown.
Have the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, ideally at an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
Side stand switch or wiring damaged. The motor is switched off when the speed falls below the minimum speed (5 km/h). The journey cannot be continued. Have the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, preferably an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
The motor control unit has detected an ASC fault. Do not damage the angular rate sensor. Please note that the ASC function is only available to a limited extent. It is possible to continue riding, but we recommend having the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, ideally at an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
A fault in the eParkourer has caused the charging process to be aborted or the charging process could not be started. Proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect charging cable
2. Wait two minutes
3. Plug in charging cable
4. Start a new charging attempt
If the fault occurs while riding: The DC/DC converter is faulty, the 12V battery cannot be recharged. It is possible to continue riding until the battery is completely discharged, but we recommend having the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, ideally at an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
The drive temperature of your vehicle is critical! Stop carefully and park your eParkourer until the drive has cooled down. If the drive overheats frequently, have the fault rectified as quickly as possible by a specialist workshop, ideally at an authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer.
The drive control unit has measured a different state of charge of the drive batteries. The power is limited. The fuller drive battery is discharged until the state of charge of the drive batteries is equal again.
