What do I do if the battery of the radio-operated key is empty? Can I still start my CE 04?

If the battery of your radio-operated key is empty, proceed as follows to start your CE 04 anyway:

Hold the empty radio-operated key or the spare key against the cover between the storage compartment flap and the load compartment flap at the height of the aerial.
The CE 04 now carries out the Pre-Ride-Check.
As soon as the key has been correctly recognised, you can start your CE 04.

Please note: Your CE 04 must be started within 30 seconds. Otherwise, it must be unlocked again.
