What is the difference between the 4 riding modes of my BMW CE 04?

The BMW CE 04 offers a total of four riding modes: ECO, Rain, Road and Dynamic. Each riding mode has its own level of recuperation during braking and offers optimum performance and riding characteristics for different riding situations.

ECO mode
  • Increases the "engine brake" / drag torque in overrun mode.
  • Enables a maximum degree of recuperation.
  • Reduced energy usage and thus extension of the range.
The "Eco" riding mode supports an energy-efficient driving style and is particularly suitable when additional kilometres are to be covered.

Rain mode
  • Reduces the "engine brake" / drag torque in overrun mode to prevent the rear wheel from locking in overrun mode.
  • Smooth and safe response of the electric drive.
The "Rain" riding mode is particularly suitable for unfavourable road conditions, especially in the rain.

Road mode
  • Full acceleration is available and enables the standard range of the BMW CE 04.
  • Normal drivability and performance.
The "Road" riding mode enables the standard range.

Dynamic mode
  • Is available as optional equipment ex works.
  • Offers even more riding pleasure due to the more direct tuning of the suspension characteristic curve, for maximum acceleration and strong recuperation at the same time.
The "Dynamic" riding mode is suitable for a sporty-dynamic driving style.
