Possible causes of the transmission fault:
- The vehicle has not reached the minimum speed.
- The minimum speed is 30 km/h. Only after exceeding the minimum speed does the RDC sensor (tyre pressure control) send its signal to the vehicle.
- Observe the RDC display at higher speed, then the warning light should go away.
- The radio link to the RDC sensors is disturbed. This could be due to radio equipment in the vicinity interfering with the connection between the RDC control unit and the sensors.
- Observe the RDC displays in a different environment.
- If the general warning light also lights up, it is a permanent fault. In this case, please visit a BMW Motorrad specialist workshop to have this fault rectified.
