How can I update the firmware on my ConnectedRide Com P1?

Firmware updates for your ConnectedRide Com P1 can be carried out very conveniently via the BMW Motorrad Connected app:

1. Connect your Com P1 to your smartphone.
2. Open the BMW Motorrad Connected app.
3. In the Connectivity Hub in the app, select your connected Com P1.
4. Click the gear icon in the top right corner to access the device configuration.
5. When a new update is available for your Com P1, a “Perform firmware update” button will appear.
6. Click the button to install the system update.

It is not possible to perform an update on the Com P1 whilst using the ConnectedRide Navigator at the same time. Please therefore connect your Com P1 to the Connected app from time to time to install any updates.
