ConnectedRide Com U1: How can I share music with someone?

Sharing music is only possible with one person. This works with and without TFT display.

To share music with another Com U1 rider:
  1. Connect ConnectedRide Com U1 to music source (smartphone).
  2. Connect to either Mesh or Bluetooth Intercom.
  3. Press the (-) button for 3 seconds. 
  4. The Intercom (Mesh or Bluetooth) partner must press the mesh button to accept the invitation.

To share music with your passenger using the TFT display: 
  1. Connect the rider and passenger communication devices to the TFT display. 
  2. Connect a music source (smartphone) to the TFT display. 
  3. Music can be heard as usual or intercom communication can take place. 
This is independent of the communication system of the passenger. This works with the Fit-for-All, communication system V3 or ConnectedRide Com U1.

Comments: 
  • For security reasons, music can only be shared with one invited person.
  • Mesh Intercom will share your music with the first person to accept your invitation. 
  • Bluetooth Intercom can be used to either talk or listen to music, while Mesh Intercom allows talking and listening to music at the same time.

Please note that if you share music on your ConnectedRide Com U1, the audio quality may decrease a little.
