ConnectedRide Com U1: How do I start an Open Mesh Intercom?

Communication in Open Mesh mode is very simple:

Press the mesh button on your device.
You hear "Open Mesh, Channel 1" over your speakers.
That's it – all mesh users within reach who use the same channel can now talk to you.
