How do I set the optimum field of vision for ConnectedRide Smartglasses?

Here's how you can set up your optimal field of vision for your smartglasses:
  1. Open the BMW Motorrad Connected app.
  2. Go to the settings menu of the smartglasses to check your field of vision.
  3. Adjust the rubber nose pads and flexible side pieces so that the virtually projected rectangle displayed in the Connected app is fully visible and sharp.
This is how it should look:
Right setup for the ConnectedRide Smartglasses
Smartglasses are correctly aligned. Small shading at the edge is OK as long as the display window (shown here in blue) is fully visible.

Not like that:
Wrong setup for the ConnectedRide Smartglasses
1: Smartglasses are too small. Choose size L instead of M.
2: Smartglasses are too big. Choose size M instead of L.
3: Smartglasses sit too high. Choose a flatter nose pad. Bend the nose pads slightly apart.
4: Smartglasses sit too low. Choose a higher nose pad. Bend the nose pads slightly together.

Note:
It is best to adjust the field of vision when you are sitting on the motorbike and wearing the helmet. Bend the nose wings and the black parts of the side pieces by applying light pressure to adjust them to the individual fit of your face and the helmet.
