Why does the M 1000 R (2023 model year) not have the Slide Control function?

The electronic steering angle sensor cannot be protected from environmental influences due to the missing or unprotected position at the front of the handlebars in the Dynamic Roadster (“Naked Bike”) – therefore the sensor was not installed. The data required from the steering angle sensor is essential for the Slide Control feature, therefore it is not available on the M R.
