How does the suspension of the M 1000 R (2023 model year) differ from the S 1000 R?

DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) is standard in the M R and specifically optimised to create a huge spread range for the increased performance and driving stability requirements of an M vehicle both on the road and on the racetrack.
The damping is adjustable in the Race Pro 1-3 modes in combination for the fork and separately adjustable between rebound and compression for the suspension strut. The steering damper of the M R is manually adjustable in 10 positions according to individual needs.
