Why is there not only the very high-performance M RR but also the M RR Competition?

The M RR (2023 model year) will be available in the version for the racing teams with an RRP of around EUR 33,000.00 (DE).

Most racing series worldwide are based on the FIM Superstock regulations. These stipulate that the homologated base vehicle must have a list price below EUR 33,000.00 gross and that only very few starting points for performance-enhancing measures are permitted.

WorldSBK also requires that 500 units of the homologation model (over two years) be produced.

The M RR is manufactured in the required quantities and already has all the essential extras for motorsport homologation within the specified price range, which may no longer be subsequently modified.

The M RR with the M Competition package is for all those who do not want to use the M 1000 RR for competition according to FIM regulations and want to use correspondingly lighter and M Performance material on the bike.
