How do I generate a lap time on a track not available in the M data logger?

To manually add a finish line or enter GPS coordinates, please go to the "#LapGPS" channel settings.
The values for latitude and longitude can either be entered directly, or it is also possible to load a line file containing the values for latitude and longitude generated by "Analyzer".
Ride a lap on the track to get an accurate GPS measurement of the track layout and open the corresponding measurement in "Analyzer". Set a mark by clicking on the desired position of the finish line. Open the submenu and navigate to "Set GPS Start Line" and save the file for the respective event. The file can now be loaded into WinIt using the "Read from line file" button.
Save settings.

If the distance from the current position to the manually defined coordinates is less than the manually defined radius and the speed is higher than the minimum speed, a lap trigger signal is set by "#LapGPS". The 2D module can now generate only lap trigger signals, but no lap times as such! Therefore the "#LapGPS" channel must be linked to the "LapTime" event!

Comments:
  • The manually entered finish line must be at least 5 kilometres from existing "2D TrkPos" finish lines
  • Radius and minimum speed inputs must be set correctly during manual lap trigger detection

Here you can find the manual on lap and section times in the Analyzer:
