Do I need an electrical connection to operate the M tyre heaters? Which one exactly?

If you want to use the M tyre heaters, you need:
A "Type C" plug for the "European" power grid with 230 V and a "Type A" plug for the US version with 110 V.

The M tyre heaters are available in these two variants. Just check with your BMW Motorrad retail outlet.
