The liner for the aluminium cases of the R 1300 GS Adventure or R 1300 GS can either be inserted into the aluminium cases or lashed to the top of the aluminium cases.
Once you have stowed your luggage in the liner, fasten the bag as follows:
- Close the zip fastener.
- Roll the upper side (side of the zip fastener) 3 times.
- Fasten the connector on both sides of the bag and on top of the bag with the matching buckle on the opposite side.
- You can then insert the liner into the aluminium case or attach it to the top of the aluminium case.
To attach the liner securely to the aluminium case, please proceed as follows:
- Fasten the loops of the four straps supplied in the lashing hooks of the aluminium case.
- Place the liner in the centre of the aluminium case and fasten the connector of the straps to the buckles attached to the liner.
- Tighten the 4 straps so that the liner is securely fastened to the aluminium case.
Please note:
The maximum payload of the liner is 5 kg. The maximum permitted speed is 130 km/h.
