The rear frame bag is bolted to the rear frame instead of the side panel.
The bag uses the screw-on points and the screws on the side panel. Proceed as follows to attach the rear frame bag to the R 1300 GS Adventure:
- Open the installation zip fastener on the frame bag to access the screw holes
- Insert the screw with the washer "M6x20x3.5" from the inside through the screw holes in the bag.
- Insert the washer "M6x16" around the screw from the outside. Use the liquid screw lock "Locktite blue medium strength" for securing.
- Screw the rear frame bag onto the R 1300 GS Adventure. The optimum tightening torque is 3 Nm.
Note:
The scope of delivery includes 2 versions each of the washers "M6x16x3.5" and "M6x20x3.5".
