How do I profit from Dynamic Brake Assist “DBC”?

“DBC” (Dynamic Brake Control) is part of the standard equipment of the S 1000 RR (from model year 2023) and supports the rider during braking manoeuvres. DBC offers more safety when braking even in difficult situations by avoiding unintentional throttle application. This function is not available in RACE Pro 1-3. 
As soon as the sensor box delivers a certain deceleration value during braking, a simultaneous acceleration request by the rider is recognised as implausible and opening of the throttle valves is prevented. This keeps the motorcycle stable and shortens the braking distance. After a certain delay, the hazard warning lights switch on automatically.
