What is ABS Pro and how does it benefit me?

The S 1000 RR (from  model year 2023) has a brake system that works confidently on the road as well as on the racetrack. ABS Pro is part of SA224 riding modes Pro (not part of the standard equipment). In contrast to conventional ABS systems, ABS Pro also offers extra safety during braking in corners. Thus, even when the brakes are applied quickly at an angle, it can counteract wheel lock-up and, in particular, reduce the risk of falling at an angle during shock braking. Basically: The riding mode appropriate to the road conditions and tyre combinations must be set.
In the “Race Pro” riding modes, the ABS function can be adjusted 5 times in each case and the ABS Pro function is coupled to it accordingly.
