For the S 1000 RR (from model year 2023): Where can the Dynamic Traction Control DTC with “Slide Control” function best be used?

On the racetrack.
There, the rider is assisted – in combination with slick tyres – in controlling any powerslides that occur with the appropriate riding style and DTC setting. For this purpose, the RR has two different settings with differently set drift angles: DTC setting 3 and 2.
These enable very experienced riders to make the best possible use of the rear tyre's potential and to influence the riding line at the exit of the corner via the throttle grip and thus via the “drift angle”. Analogous to the “Slide Control” function, the use of the steering angle sensor enables the “Brake Slide Assist” function, which is also new for the RR  rom model year 2023). At the limits of driving physics, both the rider and external influences such as track conditions and chassis and suspension adjustments have a clear influence on the control options of DTC Slide Control.
