A total of 7 riding modes are available as standard on the S 1000 RR (2025 model year):
- RAIN: Riding on wet roads
- ROAD: Riding on dry roads
- DYNAMIC: Dynamic riding on dry roads
- RACE: Riding on racetracks with sport tyres or slicks. The RACE mode forms the basis for the individually adjustable RACE PRO 1/2/3 riding modes
- RACE PRO 1/2/3: Riding on racetracks, taking into account individual settings by the rider.
The optimum interaction of engine characteristics, ABS control and DTC control is provided for each of these scenarios.
The RACE PRO riding modes make it possible to professionally customise the suspension, brake and engine control in detail. This means that individual rider preferences, route characteristics and weather conditions can be taken into account.
