If I forgot to switch off the ConnectedRide Com U1: will it switch off on its own or go into stand-by mode?

Your ConnectedRide Com U1 doesn't switch off by itself, so always remember to switch it off!
Tap the middle and the (+) buttons once to switch off the device.
