For the R 1300 GS, Vario liners are available for both cases and the topcase. The volume of the liners is:
- Left case: 21.5 – 28.9 l.
- Right case: 21.3 – 26.8 l.
- Topcase: 24.8 – 33 l.
For each Vario case there is one large main pocket and one smaller additional pocket, which can be positioned loosely on top of the main pocket in the case. The additional pocket can also be used as a small handbag, e.g. for going to the café. The main pocket for the left case has a padded storage compartment for electronic devices with cable outlet to the USB charging interface in the Vario case.
The topcase liner consists of a large main pocket with up to 33 l volume.
