The combination of the automated shift assistant (ASA) and Hill Start Control (HSC) can make hill starts considerably easier. Hill Start Control prevents uncontrolled rolling back on inclines by intervening specifically in the integrated ABS brake system. The ASA supports the rider when manoeuvring by eliminating the need to operate the clutch and preventing the engine from stalling.
This makes it easier to drive off in difficult places, e.g. on steep mountain passes or off-road, especially when riding with luggage and a passenger.
Here you can find out more about how you can drive off using the ASA.
