Why can services be released under BMW Motorrad CarData in addition to telematics data?

EU Regulation 2018/858 authorises independent economic operators who are directly or indirectly active in the vehicle servicing and repair sector (this does not include authorised workshops or retailers) to provide Connected RMI Services (such as a breakdown service) for the BMW Group brands. The prerequisite for this is your consent, which you can give in the My BMW portal.
