BMW Motorrad collects, stores and uses telematics data transmitted to BMW servers only within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions. Telematics data is only processed and used for as long as this is necessary for the establishment, organisation or amendment of the content of the contractual relationship (inventory data) and the utilisation and billing (usage data) of the various services.
Telematics data, which is necessary for the proper billing of the services (billing data), may be stored and used by BMW beyond the end of the usage process until the billing is completed.
Only in completely anonymised form will certain data also be stored for longer periods of time.
