How can I connect my ConnectedRide Navigator to the Internet?

The ConnectedRide Navigator is an online navigation system that must be connected to the Internet to use all available functions.
You have 2 options for this:
  1. Connection via Wi-Fi: In the menu "Settings > System > Wi-Fi", you can connect the Navigator to the Internet via Wi-Fi. The Internet connection can either be made from home via a stationary Wi-Fi OR mobile via a Wi-Fi hotspot from your smartphone.
  2. Connection via inserted SIM card: You can insert a data-only SIM card (Micro-SIM, compatible up to 4G/LTE) into the Navigator and thus use the full range of online functions at any time. To optimise the data consumption of the SIM card, you can set that large downloads from the system, including software updates or map downloads, should only take place via Wi-Fi. Take into account that a Wi-Fi hotspot via a mobile phone is interpreted by the Navigator as Wi-Fi and the Navigator therefore automatically downloads large data even with a hotspot connection via your smartphone.
