Go to the menu, under "Settings > Trips" you can set in detail from which length and duration a journey should be recorded.
There you have the option of activating / deactivating the trip recording in general or whether speeds should be recorded. You can also define the minimum length and duration of a journey and the maximum inactive period per journey that is to be recorded.
