The R 1300 GS is equipped with full integral brakes, which distribute the brake force between the front and rear wheels and adapt it to the load. If you perform a burn-out with active ABS, this can damage the rear wheel brake and the clutch.

- The ABS settings in the riding modes vary depending on the intended use
- In ENDURO PRO riding mode, the ABS control is deactivated in the factory settings
- In DYNAMIC PRO and ENDURO PRO riding modes, the ABS can be customised via "Setup" in the instrument cluster
