What are the benefits of the riding modes Pro on the R 1300 GS?

The option riding modes Pro offers you additional riding modes for particularly demanding applications.
You can even customise the DYNAMIC PRO and ENDURO PRO riding modes.

DYNAMIC riding mode:

  • For dynamic riding on dry roads
  • Direct throttle response
  • Reduced support thanks to rear wheel lift-off detection, which allows the rear wheel to be lifted slightly
  • Delayed intervention of the traction control, allowing light drifts and short wheelies when leaving bends

DYNAMIC PRO riding mode (customisable):

  • For dynamic riding on dry roads
  • Direct throttle response, which can be customised in the instrument cluster via "Setup"
  • Reduced support thanks to rear wheel lift-off detection, which allows the rear wheel to be lifted slightly
  • The traction control prevents the rear wheel from spinning, but can be adjusted individually

ENDURO PRO riding mode (customisable):

  • For off-road riding with rough-tread off-road tyres
  • Optimum throttle response, which can be customised in the instrument cluster via "Setup"
  • ABS control is deactivated as a factory setting for the rear wheel, but can be configured individually. ABS Pro is not available
  • The rear wheel and front wheel lift-off detection is inactive so that wheelies of any length and angle are possible. In extreme cases, the vehicle can roll over backwards
  • Later intervention of the traction control, as the use of off-road tyres is assumed. The traction control (DTC) setting can be adjusted individually
  • The engine drag torque control is inactive

Please note:
In contrast to the fixed ECO, RAIN, ROAD, DYNAMIC and ENDURO riding modes, the riding characteristics can be customised in the riding modes Pro. This means that when you select the DYNAMIC PRO riding mode, for example, you start with a configuration similar to DYNAMIC, which you can set and change as required. For example, you can reduce the ABS to minimise intervention by the brake system.
These settings are reset during a "reset to factory settings", as well as when you have a software update carried out for the motorbike.
