The R 1300 GS has 4 different riding modes as standard, which are characterised by the following features:

ECO riding mode:

  • For range-optimised riding
  • Restrained throttle response
  • Maximum support thanks to rear wheel lift-off detection

RAIN riding mode:

  • Suitable riding mode for wet roads
  • Soft throttle response
  • Maximum support thanks to rear wheel lift-off detection
  • Early intervention of Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) for maximum driving stability

ROAD riding mode:

  • For riding on dry roads
  • Optimum throttle response
  • Maximum support thanks to rear wheel lift-off detection

ENDURO riding mode:

  • For off-road riding with road tyres
  • Soft throttle response
  • Reduced support thanks to rear wheel lift-off detection, which allows the rear wheel to be lifted slightly
  • Tailored intervention of the traction control for off-road operation, allowing short wheelies when leaving bends
