The adjustment range of the cruise control with brake function (Dynamic Cruise Control DCC) depends on the selected gear and can be activated in the speed range between 30 and 210 km/h.
The cruise control is automatically deactivated in the following situations:
- If the engine speed falls below the minimum speed, so that your R 1300 GS does not stall
- When riding at maximum engine speed after several seconds
- In case of ABS or traction control DTC interventions
- In case of system faults
- If the cruise control has been deactivated automatically, a message appears in the instrument cluster.
Note: The cruise control DCC is only available in the ECO, RAIN, ROAD, DYNAMIC or DYNAMIC PRO riding modes. Find out more about the different riding modes of the R 1300 GS here.
ACC (Active Cruise Control), on the other hand, can only be activated in the speed range between 30 and 160 km/h.
If you activate ACC at a speed above 160 km/h, the system will select the maximum speed of 160 km/h.
